Step inside this neat place to see the decor. The waiter's and waitress' were all in period clothing. We had a great lunch with a slice of pecan pie that we shared.

This was a great place to stop for lunch. We needed a break from walking and we beat the crowd. By the time we were finished with our meal the place was packed inside and groups waiting outside to come in.

May 19, 2009 North Carolina



Brian took us to the beach about an hour away from the base. It was very windy but the sun was shinning bright. We ate lunch at this special Seafood Restaurant near the beach then we took a tour of Fort Macon and the beach. This was a fun day with the day ending with Brian and I playing Skip-Bo one more time and me washing another load of clothes.

Grandpa and I had so very much fun with Brian, he took us to see his apt., his shop where he works, We met a few men in the shop and how I loved going into the Base Exchange.

Having fun with Grandson Brian on Monday. He is showing us all around his Air-Force Base. We arrived at the Base and met up with Brian on Sunday afternoon May 17th. We had a special meal at Outback Steak House on Sunday evening then the three of us played Skip-Bo in our room. Yes !!!! then Monday night after we dinned at a special Italian Restaurant we came back to our motel and Brian and I played Skip-Bo on a small table while I also washed clothes.
